The Remains of Shikiri-mon Gate

There was a stone wall built along a cliff on the south side path leading up to Hon-maru (the main enclosure of a castle) from Ni-no-maru (outer citadel) of the castle. The Shikiri-mon Gate was a roofed structure with the size of about 4 m x 9 m (approx.13  x 29 ft), located between Ni-no-maru and Hon-maru. Beyond this point was Hon-maru. The gate was partially used as a storage.
